Assam Board Result 2023: The Assam Higher Secondary Council (AHSEC) declared the Assam HS 12th result 2023 today, June 06. Students who appeared in the class 12 examinations can check and download their result from the official website of AHSEC at ahsec.assam. gov.in.
There has been a decrease in the pass percentage in various streams. In Arts stream, the pass percentage fell to 70.12% from last year’s 83.48%, while in Science the success rate dropped to 84.96% from 92.19%. Similarly, a decline was registered in commerce from 87.27% to 79.57%. The pass percentage in vocational stream also dropped to 85.61% from last year’s 89.30%.
The Arts stream saw the participation of a record-breaking 2.61 lakh candidates, while the Science stream saw 46,384 candidates, and the Commerce stream saw 20,417 candidates.

Commerce – Varsha Bothra and Sukanya Kumar (472/500)
Girls have outperformed boys among regular candidates in all the three streams of Science, Arts and Commerce. In Science, the pass percentage of female candidates was 86.49 per cent, while the pass percentage of male candidates was 83.80 per cent. The pass percentage for male and female candidates in Arts has been recorded at 66.94 per cent and 72.92 per cent respectively. And in commerce, 81.27 per cent female candidates cleared the exam against 78.88 per cent male candidates.
AHSEC 12th Board Exam 2023 was conducted from 20 February to 20 March 2023 in two shifts – 1st shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2nd shift from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM Was. Students can follow the steps given below to check and download their class 12th result 2023.

Last year, a total of 2.15 lakh candidates appeared for the Assam class 12th board exam. The maximum number of 1.64 lakh candidates appeared from Arts stream, followed by 34,401 from Science and 15,581 from Commerce.
