Maharashtra SSC Result 2023 Live Updates: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is all set to announce the Maharashtra SSC Result 2023 soon. It is expected to be announced today, May 31, however, an official confirmation is awaited. Students can visit the official website of Maharashtra Board at mahresult.nic.in or mahahsscboard.in to check their scores. This year 15,77,256 students had registered to appear in the SSC exam. Out of the total number of those who appeared in the examination, 8,44,116 were boys and 7,33,067 were girls.
The exams were conducted from March 2 to 25. To pass the MSBSHSE SSC exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 marks in each subject. Unlike many other states, the Maharashtra State Board does not announce the names of the toppers. Students who clear the Maharashtra SSC exam will be allowed to apply for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC) or Class 11 for the academic year 2023-2024.
The Maharashtra Board declared the HSC or Class 12 results on May 25, with a pass percentage of 91.25 per cent. Last year, out of a total of 15,68,977 students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams in Maharashtra, a total of 96.94 per cent passed successfully. The pass percentage of boys was 96.06 per cent and that of girls was 97.96 per cent. The class 10th result for Maharashtra Board was released on June 17 last year. In 2022 SSC exam was conducted between 15th March to 4th April. In 2021, 99.95 per cent students had passed the class 10 exam. In 2020, 95.30 percent students took the exam.
After getting the result, students have to recheck their marksheet after downloading it online. In case of any discrepancy, students must report to their respective schools or MSBSHSE. They have to cross-check their name and spelling, name of school and exam centre, totals, grades and pass/fail status.
