SSC Group D Scam: There are signs of corruption in the appointment of Group D posts in the state. When the matter reached the court, Justice Gangopadhyay ordered the publication of the OMR sheets (answer sheets) of the Group D post candidates.
After that, the OMR sheet of 4487 candidates who were appointed to the Group D post was published by the School Service Commission.
The state is practically in turmoil in recruitment corruption cases. Corruption has not been ruled out in Group D posts like other posts. In this regard, the CBI claimed in the court that there was a lot of corruption in the appointment of Group D posts.
SSC Group D Scam: Many candidates got appointed by rigging the answer sheet. Later, in the related case, Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay directed the School Service Commission to produce the OMR sheets of the candidates who were appointed to Group D posts in 2016 by January 31. The answer sheets have been published on the official website of SSC following the order of the court. Out of which most of the OMR sheets are alleged to be defaced.
Incidentally, the SSC has not released the answer sheets even after Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay’s order.
