Storyline:

The story of this movie ‘1920 Horrors of the Heart’ revolves around a girl named Meghna, who on her twenty-first birthday decides to tell her father about her lover Arjun. But then he learns that his father has committed suicide. As Meghna tries to get to the bottom of her father’s death, she learns that her mother Radhika, who left her long ago, is also responsible for her father’s death.

Meghna plans to use her father’s spirit to destroy her mother Radhika and her new family, but only then she learns that the truth is something else. You will know the rest of the story after watching the film.

Performance:

Avika Gaur in Meghna’s character has tried to act well but her character still seems like ‘Balika Vadhu’ somewhere. Avika needs a little sparkle to establish herself on the big screen. Barkha Bisht and Rahul Dev have done well, while Ketki Kulkarni’s performance as Meghna’s half-sister is excellent.

Technicalities:

Like his father, Krishna too kept his genre horror, but he also took the name of the film from his father’s film, which makes the middle half fun and gritty. In this film, Krishna is not seen eating songs with the scene, which spoils the fun a bit. From the sets to the background score, everything in the film looks similar to Vikram Bhatt films, leaving the curiosity to watch further. Krishna needs to work more on his directorial style for the upcoming films.

Analysis:

A lot of hard work has to be done to make this film horror, the film continues to make horror till the first half, while gradually in the second half the film comes into the horror genre. Talking about the problem or shortcoming of the film, Krishna has taken the story of this film from his father’s film.

Looking at the things or places that have been used to make the scene scary in the film, it seems that something is being done forcefully. The story of the film is nothing special, which can attract the audience to watch it.

Verdict:

Krishna learned to make horror films from her father, but she could not learn to put good songs in her films like her father and uncle. There is only one lullaby song in the film which looks somewhat similar to the film, after which the rest of the songs don’t make any difference.
