Hansika’s next with Kannan titled Gandhari. First look, release date and dual characters: Hansika, who has more than half a dozen films to her credit, recently had a dream wedding with Sohail Khaturia, which has got her fans excited. She has only one release this year; The long pending thriller flick Maha directed by UR Jameel. It was also his first visit after the pandemic.
The actress is working for a project under the direction of Kannan. The team revealed the first look, release date and title of the film. Hansika looks fierce in the first look poster of the film titled Gandhari. Billed as a horror flick, the female-centric film will see the actress playing a double role for the first time.
The film, which is slated to release on February 24, is produced by Kannan himself. Balasubramaniem has composed the camera for Gandhari, which has music by LV Muthu Ganesh and stunt choreography by Stunt Silva. Producer G Dhananjayan
Jijendra and Parthipan handled editing and art direction respectively for the film with dialogues written by Srini Selvaraj. Hansika has Tamil projects like Partner, Guardian and Rowdy Baby. This series is in addition to My3 which is likely to release on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023.
Kannan, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of The Great Indian Kitchen, which is hitting the screens on December 29. The film, which was completed sometime back, stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role.
