1. MEDIATEK DIMENSITY 9200 AND POWERFUL INTERNALS (Vivo X90 )
Inside the Vivo X90 series is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 engine. It is a 4nm chip with 1 Arm Cortex X3 core clocked at 3.05GHz, 3x Arm Cortex-A715 clocked at 2.85GHz frequency, and finally, 4x Arm Cortex-A510 clocked at 1.8GHz speed. This is the first WiFi 7-ready mobile processor, though Vivo phones only bring WiFi 6. The devices also pack ray-tracing enabled ARM Immortalis – G715 GPU. Both the devices support both mmWave and sub-6 GHz bands 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, L1+L5 GPS, NFC, Infrared, and a USB-C port.
2. ZEISS CAMERAS (Vivo X90 series)
While both the cameras sport 50MP primary cameras, the material used and the setup are different on both the phones: Vivo X90 Pro 50.3MP (1.6µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 50MP (0.7µm, 2x optical zoom, OIS) + 12MP ultrawide. Clicker. The Vivo X90 sports a 50MP (1.0µm, PDAF)+ 12MP (f/2.0, telephoto, 1.22µm, 2x optical zoom, OIS)+ 12MP ultrawide snapper. Both have the same 32MP selfie shooter. The Vivo X90 Pro packs a 4870mAh battery and the standard X90 packs a slightly smaller 4810mAh battery. However, the charging speed is the same 120W on both the phones. It claims to fill half the tank in 8 minutes. You also get 50W wireless charging on the Pro model.
4. EYE-GRABBING DESIGN (Vivo X90 series)
That circular island on the back is an eye-catcher. At the bottom, there’s a silver band with “Extreme Imagination” printed on it. The Pro models also offer a premium leather finish. You can pick up the Vivo X90 series phones in multiple colours, but red is the highlight this year.
